As a member of the Wakenagun Healing Lodge, the Youth Wellness Worker is responsible for providing comprehensive services to youth between the ages of 12 and 17 in attendance at the Healing Lodge. The Teacher, an educational support provider at Wakenagun Youth Healing Lodge is responsible to support Grade 6 and above students providing targeted instruction and tracking progress. It focuses on fostering academic growth, emotional well-being, and resilience, while collaborating with counselors, families, and staff. Experience with First Nation communities and a passion for students’ success are key skills that lead to success in the role.
